Restaurant Street Art. We collaborated with The Gatsby’s Bar and Restaurant in SoHo to create a NYC themed street art piece. The imagery for the wheat paste was provided to us by the client. We then put it all together in a cohesive piece that tied in with the interior design. It’s always great to create pieces with tributes to the soul of old school New York City. We referenced Keith Haring, Andy Warhol, Grandmaster Flash, CBGB’s, The Ramones, and more. Check out some installation photos below and drop by the bar at 53 Spring Street if you are in the area!

The red upholstery and tin ceiling make for an interesting setting. The chandeliers complete the interior design, then we filled in the rest of the space with spray paint, stencils and wheat paste. Restaurant Street Art.

Red accent splats, sprays and also a couple wheat paste graphics compliment the furniture.

The SAMO and Keith Haring tags and homages should feel particularly at home on Spring street and in SoHo. Basquiat’s studio couldn’t have been too far away…
