If you like candy classics like M&M’s and Snickers, you’ll love our latest client! Recently, we did a little work with the one and only Mars Wrigley Confectionery. Their administrative team reached out to us to come up with fun team-building ideas for a group of 30 of their employees. After some thought, we decided a graffiti workshop in Chicago was the perfect event to hold!
The Mars team thought that a custom street art workshop was a perfect idea! Naturally, we agreed. After discussing the groups goals in more detail, we decided to move forward with an individual workshop.
We hosted an entire day full of events and eating and drinking, centered around themes of boldness and disruption. Each participant would create their own stencil and artwork using spray paint. However, the outdoor environment still allowed everyone to share a creative experience within a group.
Our Chicago street artist and MC for the workshop gave a brief introduction. Later, he made a small speech about his artwork, as well as graffiti’s history, before diving right into the basics of spray paint. Employees learned about the tips and tricks of the trade. Like many of our interactive live art events, participants were eager to dive right in!
To summarize, the day went on with the sun shining, beers and aerosol in hand. This group had a blast interacting with our artist and each other. Furthermore, the event allowed the group to get out of their comfort zone, relax, and share a non-typical day together. Everyone involved had a blast and went home happy with their new graffiti tools and completed graffiti artwork.
