Minneapolis mural artist for hire. We worked with the new Radisson Red hotel (opening Nov. 2016) on a street art/graffiti themed mural in their employee hallway.  Our local mural artist did an amazing job on the piece, following the client’s direction with certain words they wanted to feature. Check out some images of the final mural installation below.

“We connect with that ageless millennial mindset and believe that hotels can enhance their world via art, music, fashion and a distinctive connection.”Radisson Red

We added a lot of subtle detail within the piece. The multiple fonts mix and overlap. Can you spot all of the hidden text within the collage? Our Minneapolis mural artist used spray-paint so layers can be three or four layers deep.

A particularly nice cluster of letters above, check the transparent blue A and yellow S our Minneapolis mural artist overlaid on the musical staff. Other letters have a fill and an outline, a few are only the hollow outline.

Minneapolis Mural Artist - Collage ArtThe wall has an interesting texture, note the use of negative space in the design. Our Minneapolis mural artist also picked up grey hues of the polished concrete, tying the work into the site. The corner is another design opportunity to connect the artwork with its environment. Through following the jog of the hallway, the applied finish merges further with the structural shell.

Graffiti Wraps CornerThe irregular shape of the piece also breaks up the grid rhythm of the hallway posts, ceiling and doorways. Free-from curves and dots mix with enough angles and lines to activate the space without feeling out of place. The effect of these cut outs and the borderless approach overall really stand out on a mural canvas like this one.
