We recently teamed up with an interior designer to create a custom residential street art installation.  Using wheat paste, stencils and spray paint, we created a layered street art mural within a residential setting.  It was a sports related theme incorporating some inspirational quotes from famous athletes.  It reminded us of a past installation we did at a corporate gym in NYC for Fundamental Advisors.  Check out a photograph of the recent installation below:

We recently partnered with Studio D on a residential interior design project in Connecticut for a private client. With some direction from the award winning designer, we created this beautiful piece that tied in with other elements of the residence. We are very happy with the outcome of this piece and hope that the home owners will enjoy it for years to come! Check out some photos of the completed piece below:

At Graffiti USA, we also offer sign painting and logo reproduction services.  Please see some samples of the type of work that we can do below.  We can do freehand painted logos, die cut reverse stencils (allow for smooth gradients utilizing spray paint) as well as die cut vinyl installations.  In order to provide an accurate quote, we would need the following information:

  • Approximate size of the wall space and logo to be painted
  • Vector file of the logo
  • Surface that the logo is to be installed on

Using spray paint for logos allows gradients that aren’t possible when using brush. It also allows uneven surfaces to be painted that is not possible using brush.

We recently teamed up with Caleb Anderson Design to create a graffiti piece for a residential client of theirs.  More and more, we have been getting requests to do high end graffiti for some high profile clients (mostly in LA and NY.)  There is a trend of taking the authentic street graffiti aesthetic and bringing indoors mixed with high end decor.  Back in 2014, we did a street art collaboration with Meyer Davis Studio for the Kips Bay Decorator Show.  Since then, we have been seeing that this is becoming a very popular trend.  Check out some photos of the recent installation below:

We completely covered a lobby with a custom graffiti/street art installation in Harlem, NY at a building called “The Art House.” This is a modern residential building undergoing a renovation that wanted to create some cutting edge artwork in their lobby. For this installation, we actually painted the entire ceiling in a Michelangelo/Sistine Chapel style! It was quite the interesting installation that we were able to achieve using a brand of paint called Plutonium Paint which sprays 360 degrees. The influence for this piece was a local iconic “Crack Is Wack” handball court piece by Keith Haring. Check out some photos of the installation below:

The NJ based owner of a rare Nissan GT-R (third one imported into the US) reached out to us to do a custom street art inspired paint job on his wrapped vehicle. While most people typically go with airbrushing, the client was bold enough to just go for a spray painted graffiti effect on the car! This was an amazing opportunity to paint a luxury car with some art direction from the client. We made his vision come to life and he was very happy with the results! After a recent project w/ Meyer Davis Studio painting the interior of the new Wayfarer Restaurant, we worked with them again on the 2014 Kips Bay Decorator Show House. This time, we painted a gray toned posterized portrait that was integrated with an exit sign near the elevator wall. This was an awesome project to be a part of and we definitely stood out from the crowd.

“Each year, celebrated interior designers transform a luxury Manhattan home into an elegant exhibition of fine furnishings, art and technology. This all began in 1973 when several dedicated supporters of the Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club launched the Kips Bay Decorator Show House to raise critical funds for much needed after school and enrichment programs for New York City children. Over the course of four decades, this project has grown into a must-see event for thousands of design enthusiasts and is renowned for sparking interior design trends throughout the world.”(http://www.kipsbaydecoratorshowhouse.org/index.htm)

New York Times – Rocking The Palazzo
“…On the second-floor landing, a contemporary elevator door and some emergency and exit signage has become part of a mural by Victor Fung, a graffiti artist”

Newsday – An inside look at the Kips Bay Decorator Show House
“…The Meyer Davis Studio in Manhattan fills the second-floor corridor with work by Brooklyn artists — including a wall of graffiti by Victor Fung at one end of the space.”

The Washington Post – Kips Bay Decorator Show House shows off 22 rooms of decorating splendor in New York
“…Cool factor? On the second-floor landing, Brooklyn graffiti artist Victor Fung came on site with his spray-paint cans and created an original artwork, “The Scream,” on one wall. Fung’s installation gets even more of an urban edge because there is a glowing “Exit” sign in the middle of it.”

Dream Walls – Glass As Art
“…The hallway gallery was designed by Meyer Davis Studio and designers Will Meyer and Gray Davis basically transformed the 2nd floor hallway into a Brooklyn Art Gallery. It features 3 working Brooklyn-based artists, and most of the big press on the house focuses on Victor Fung’s graffiti art, “The Scream” on the far wall.”

Ask Patrick – …about haute and haunting, and a day at the opera, all for a price: Kips Bay 2014
“…Haute and Haunting
Elsewhere, mysterious, enigmatic elements like those shrouded figures, a wild-eyed photo of Medusa flanked by narwhale tusks, silenced portraits, beheaded torsos, disorienting scale, murky colors, blood references, and corridors disappearing in dark shadows made this into a haunted house of sorts, the Victor Fung mural in the Meyer Davis hallway frozen in an eternal, eerie scream, punctured like a wound by the ruby red exit sign. “

We get quite a few jobs to add custom artwork on the walls of “man caves” throughout the tri-state area.   Most recently, we had the opportunity to paint the interior walls of a large garage that would house a car collection and lounge.  The idea came about when the client initially moved into the abandoned space and saw some existing graffiti inside.  It looked pretty cool to them so they asked us to come re-decorate the space with graffiti after the renovations.  Given the client’s existing appreciation of graffiti art, it was truly a pleasure working with them!  On top of the graffiti, we were commissioned to paint some photo realism murals and custom signs which were all done in spray paint.  Check out the photos below.

The first part of this project involved painting multiple car names in variations of classic graffiti styles.  We went for a collage type of feel where the sizes and colors of the names varied to provide some eye candy.  The car names included Aston Martin, Porsche, GTO, Mercedes-Benz (logo), Maserati, Ferrari, Ford and Fiat.

On an adjacent wall between garage doors, the client wanted an attractive female painted bending over showing off her “assets.” The lounge area incorporated a window that would have a direct view of this wall. With a found reference, we were able to reproduce this girl in a photo-realism style using all spray paint. This was definitely one of the most “unique” commission jobs we have done thus far!

Garage Girl Graffiti

The second part of this project was painting two walls on the opposite end of the garage. On one of the walls, we designed a custom retro style sign for the client. This was painted over a very rough surface that consisted of pipes, electrical boxes, etc. It was tough to work around all these obstacles but we were very happy with the outcome in the end! We also painted various highway signs (I-95, 495, Route 66) to fill up the negative space around the main piece.

Last but not least, we painted another photo-realism style red Ferrari that looked like it was breaking through the wall.
